The Black Horse Inn

Broken crockery (smashed to tiny pieces without disturbing the owner's sleep) has occurred here and a strange man wearing old clothes silhouetted in an air freshener spray have been experienced here. A man with a wide brimmed hat and a long coat has also been seen seated looking out of a window too; he may be the 'Sad Cavalier' who is sometimes referred to, and witnesses talk of his tall boots, leggings as well as his hat. He is reputed to vanish when he is asked if he needs any help. A nine-year old Victorian girl, with long blonde hair and a white dress, has been seen upstairs and in the men's toilets (it is said she died when she jumped over the wall of a school that was next door), and giggling and laughter heard, and cold spots detected.
