The Moorcock Inn

On Christmas Eve 1910, a mistake by a signalman resulted in two trains colliding just after the Moorcock Tunnel and 12 people were killed. Their bodies were temporarily stored at the Moorcock Inn, and it is believed that the victims have returned to cause minor nuisances, such as furniture moving etc.

Update 5/2/22: Jo Cox at the inn replied to my email as to whether anything has been experienced recently: "Sorry nothing in the last 4/5 years."
