A big man with a moustache was seen in the circle after a member of staff smelt cigar smoke. By the time the staff member got to the seat, the figure had inexplicably vanished (he couldn't have left without being seen) - but the chair was down, whereas all the others were up. On another occasion, staff were alerted to a bang and found all the seats down, even though the theatre wasn't even open yet. Odd noises, items being moved, a figure seen ascending a ladder and the sensation of being tapped on the shoulder have also occurred here.
