Felbrigg Hall

Bibliophile Wiliam Windham is supposed to visit the library here, and he has also been heard moving around. He does not like crowds apparently and after visiting hours has been observed sitting in a library chair or at the table looking at his volumes, "lit by the gentle glow of a ghostly fire in the grate." At least one report says that his phantom only appears when certain books are placed on the table in the library.

Update 19/1/22: Lucy Ayers, the Assistant Business Services Co-ordinator at Felbrigg Hall informs me, "I haven’t [sic] had a chat with the team who look after the House and they haven’t got anything to report."
