Passenham Watermill

Following the loss of her husband in the Crimean War, and then the death of her newly born son, Nancy Webb threw herself into the millrace. In October each year is the Deanshanger Feast and Nancy is said to be seen heading towards the mill with her baby in her arms that night. Her ghost is also said to be heard screaming in the water during the evening too.
