The South Western Hotel provided accomodation to some of the Titanic's passengers before departure; one of them was J.Bruce Ismay himself. The building had its own railway platform at the rear, the tracks continuing on to the docks. The hotel can be seen in the background of some photos of the Titanic in her berth. Today the building is an apartment block.
