The Grapes public house was the final venue for members of the crew before the ship's departure; as the sign outside describes, the Slade brothers probably owed their lives to their desire for a few drinks plus a train that hindered their attempts to board the ship. Inside, there are various posters and prints depicting the ship, including the famous Hahn plans of the Titanic. |
