Leith Hall

A spectral man with a bandaged head has been reported; he is believed to be John Leith, who died in 1763 from a wound to the head after a brawl. In 1968, guests told of the unnverving sounds of a woman's laugh and a party in full swing - whereupon investigation revealed nothing. A woman in 18th century garb, and a man in military uniform, supposedly the last Leith owner who died in a motorcycle accident has been seen in the extensive grounds. Footsteps, the sound of pipes and drums, children laughing, and doors being slammed, the smell of food and camphor, temperature drops and people feeling as if they had been touch have also been recorded as occurring here at the Hall.
