Ruthin Castle

The ruins are said to be haunted by a "Grey Lady"; in life it is said that she dispatched a rival to her husband's affections in c. the 15th century with an axe and was executed, being buried in unconsecrated ground in the battlements, where a pile of stones called "The Grey Lady's Grave" can be seen. However, the reports of her date to modern times. The hotel, adjoining the ruins has reports of lights, voices, noises and perhaps a knight in armour wearing only one gauntlet.
