The Royal Oak

This building used to be a hospice, and one of the phantoms is a friar, who was tasked with provided food and shelter for pilgrims and travellers. However, this friar, according to legend, used to intoxicate the guests and take the opportunity to steal their belongings. The friar was walled up alive in the cellar, and returns to various locations in the pub. His face has been seen to appear on a spot on the wall, despite the area being painted over. A lady in a dark dress and a wide hat from the 19th century has also been seen occasionally, striding through the pub and coming down the stairs. The third phantom is a vague white shape in the kitchen and is blamed for turning the lights on and off there.
