Caratacus Stone

Caratacus was the British leader of the rebellion against the Romans in the first century AD but was captured and taken to Rome, where the intention was to execute him. His life was spared when he spoke Greek, showing him to be "more than a mere savage." The ghost here is said to be a man named Carter who tried to dig beneath the stone to find the rumoured treasure beneath. Unfortunately for him, the stone fell on him, killing him. A phantom wagon and horses is said to visit the spot too.
