Bloody Shard Gate

In 1780, the gamekeepers of Cranbourne Chase decided to end the escapades of a group of local poachers, and after a tip off engineered an ambush. The skirmish ended when the leader of the poachers, Trumpet Major Blandford had his left arm severed below the elbow. He survived and after a spell in prison, seems to have been a reformed character. When he died, the haunting at Bloody Shard Gate started; it is of a man with a truncated left arm, seemingly looking for something.
