Arundel Castle

A kitchen boy who was overworked to the point of death is said to be the cause of the sound of invisible pots and pans crashing about. A "Blue Man", resembling a 17th century Royalist officer, has been seen in the library. In addition, the builder of the castle, Earl Rodger de Montgomery, has been observed and a small white bird that, according to legend, appears as a foreboding of death in the family of the Dukes of Norfolk. A worker in the stock room saw two bottles of alcohol fly off the shelves and shatter on the floor some distance away. In addition, children have seen a little dog in the library- but it is invisible to adults.
